What do you want to do today?

The Coalition includes clinicians and members from more than 25 local organizations who provide mental health and wellbeing programs to Black communities in Ottawa.

Did you know you can access 1-3 anonymous counselling sessions online or over the phone with professional counsellors? No wait list, no cost.

Peer Support can be 1-on-1 or held with groups of people with similar experiences. Peer Support Facilitators have lived experience and special training for this work.

Our Community of Practice connects clinical professionals with information, tools and a professional network that builds their capacity to provide appropriate services to Black community members.

Volunteers can apply through Somerset West Community Health Centre to support the Coalition. Volunteers who have completed the recruitment process can join one of our many volunteer opportunities.​

Residents and professionals can find more information and get referrals to specific supports and services by calling one of the phone support lines.​
