By eliminating the guesswork and work with people to refer them to the services they need, all while supporting them through the process. After reaching out, you will be paired with a trained mental health and addiction professional who will connect you to the services you need from a network of partner organizations.
Black Racialized Individuals Support Lines
The Britannia Woods Community House opened in 1976 with the purpose of ensuring the families living in the Britannia Woods community had access to social, educational and recreational supports. In the early 1990s, an Emergency Food Pantry was implemented to provide families with an emergency supply of food.
ACB Support Lines
Let’s be in charge of our wellness! If feeling sad, anxious, confused or overwhelmed by life’s struggles and dealing with COVID-19 impacts, we offer phone support for ACB residents of Ottawa. Support for the community, by the community, to help you regain your wellbeing from practical and emotional support including resource navigation, health coaching and advocacy.

Centre for Resilience and Social Development
The CRSD has made significant progress in fostering youth and family engagement through multi-disciplinary collaboration. We support and advocates for grassroots, community led and culturally responsive initiatives to tackle issues related with youth empowerment and engagement.
FAMHAS
FAMHAS was created to help alleviate the feeling of abandonment that many of us endured due to the stigma surrounding mental health and addictions. Our outreach programs and educational sessions provide information and resources to help eliminate stereotypes and stigma about mental health and addiction. Through these sessions, we are able to open the doors to have conversations about mental health, redefine what it is, and share knowledge to clarify misconceptions.
Together We Can Youth Mentorship Program
Increasing a sense of belonging for Black youth living in low-income or social housing. Helping to build a strong cultural identity for Black youth by matching them with Black mentors. Increasing and encouraging civic engagement through the development of advocacy skills.
